I know the process of preparing SYF was tough and tomorrow is going to be our big day. I had sleepless nights since early this April because I kept dreaming about all of you all practising in my dream. The stressing & pressurised atmosphere made all of us cried like mad. Students complaint that (1) they can't complete their homework, (2) they failed their tests, (3) their projects can't hand in on time, (4) their parents nagged at them etc...

I am also stressed with these problems, (1) my co members didn't have time to complete homework/projects, (2) my co members failed their tests, (3) my co members' parents complaint about their child spending too much time on CCA, (4) discipline issue with some students, (5) managements issue, (6) shortage of money to buy new instruments / to employ new instructors, (7) lack of logistic supports, (8) lack of space to store instruments, (9) lack of space to practice, (10) students' punctuallity issue, (11) students' attitude & commitment & many more...

But I know I have all students support. You all are the one who make me laugh, smile & cry the most. With all your help in CO, our CO expanded from the size of about 25 students to current 45. With instruments initially only er hu, zhong ruan, sheng & di zi; now we have da ruan, timpani, vibrophone, Luo & wind chime. We have to squeeze into Learning Centre & share with Guzheng, now we have 1 store room in Level 4. I will always do my best to ensure everyone in CO to is well taken care of. Students first, Teacher the Key has always been my motto.

My aim is to expand SSCO further. However, I really need all your help. Your help to do your best in your SYF tomorrow. Whether we are getting any award is not the issue now, we need to perform our best. Of course, it will be a better if we can get at least a bronze, best is a silver.

Well, please don't feel to nervous tomorrow. I will be there with you all. Just do your best to perform. Take it as a normal performance.
